UK University Students' Unions

In the UK, every university has its own Students' Union. The students' union ultimately represents the entire student body at that university, and is dedicated to student events, societies, protests and much more. 

Most unions are run by the students themselves, with an elected committee in charge. Within this, students of the university are usually given various different positions (both paid and voluntary) with a President in charge overall.
